During these years practicing massage therapy, I noticed a very common pattern. People were coming to me for help with their muscle tension, sore shoulders, headaches, stiff neck, achy feet, not being able to sleep, anxiety and many more. I found that people like to be able to talk after their treatments, tears often roll and a torrent of words would come, almost a sense of relief. The nurturing massage seemed to unlock the emotional doors. I understood that whilst the aromatherapy massages were good, I felt that I wanted to offer more.
Even though massage and aromatherapy can provide temporary relief from stress, I knew that to truly help people, and myself, I needed to learn more about the connection between the mental and emotional bodies, and ease my people’s suffering on a deeper level. So I did some research and signed up for some more training. I found a wonderful neuroscience based coaching diploma and I am now qualified as a Mindbody Practitioner, combining holistic aromatherapy massage with relaxation coaching.
